You are incredibly talented, and it'...Too true. You are incredibly talented, and it's not your work. It's crazy how much of an attention whore you have to be just to make a sale on Etsy. They don't even advertise their own site; they pimped out us sellers to do their advertising for them. It's disgusting. And yeah, I am tired of people constantly feeding their shops into twitter.

I agree that it is slightly easier to sell (or at least be seen) on Ebay. Though I've heard that the fees can be high. I also heard that they're raising the fees again in March. Really, 8-121% is still better than 50% to a gallery. I hope you try both out. Looking forward to the re-opening of your shop=)Tiffanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03739952288646697076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2864488939868083678.post-30947718454798904712010-01-09T03:18:10.998-08:002010-01-09T03:18:10.998-08:00I've had trouble selling stuff on Etsy too, an...I've had trouble selling stuff on Etsy too, and it has given me lots of negative thoughts- like I'm not good enough, or I'm not trying hard enough. But seriously, I AM good at what I do, and for the amount of time I put in I should have seen more results. Also, I don't WANT to twitter about my shop 24/7, or spam my facebook friends or as you say, harrass people about my shop. To me, that's not marketing, it's being rude and annoying. I'll probably open my Etsy shop again nevertheless, but lots of people have told me it's much easier to sell on Ebay, soo I'll give that a try too! Oh, and good luck with the group exhibition :)asfjhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06843440671626954340noreply@blogger.com
